1. What is Fantasy Football?
Fantasy Football is a fantasy sports game where participants are arranged into a competitive league, earning “fantasy points” by using the statistics of real football players.
2. What is the difference between fantasy football and a standard football draft?
Fantasy football allows participants to make roster changes by adding, dropping and trading players throughout the season. Participants must declare a starting line up by selecting the best players from their roster before each weekly matchup. Head-to-head matchups take place each week. Within each matchup, the participant scoring the most points records a win while the other participant records a loss, contributing to their overall record. The league winner is decided using an elimination style playoff at the end of the season. Alternatively, the team with the best winning percentage or most accumulated points may be declared the league winner. In short, fantasy football is more interactive than a football draft.

League commissioners have the option to adjust point settings, set roster size and starting line-up composition, incorporate a Canadian ratio and regulate player transactions (adds, drops, trades).

7. How time consuming is Fantasy football?
It depends on how dedicated you are to your team. On average, participants spend 2-3 hours per week managing a team. However, you can successfully manage your roster and set a starting line-up in less than 15 minutes per week.
8. When is the best time to start a league?
Although a league can be started at any time during the season, it is recommended that you create a league before opening day kickoff. Generally, fantasy drafts take place in the month before the regular season starts.
9. How do I get started?
The first step to forming a league is finding a number of participants (3-8) who wish to play. One league member can create a league by clicking the “Create League” button on the Fantas-Eh public homepage. League creation is an easy step-by-step process. There is also a public league where participants are randomly grouped into a six team league. After a league has been created, league participants must coordinate a time to conduct a draft. A draft can be done in person, or through the online draft function. During the draft, participants take turns selecting players until each team has a complete roster. Once a player has been selected, he cannot be owned by another team. It is a good idea to discuss roster and starting line-up settings, point settings, transaction settings and other customizable league features with league participants before conducting a draft. If participants wish to make changes to their rosters after the draft, they have the option to add, drop or trade players at any time before or during the season.
